We are seeking a skilled Java Cloud Engineer to join our team and tackle new and exciting challenges. In this role, you will focus on cloud-based solutions, leveraging modern technologies to build reusable and efficient solutions while working in dynamic and global environments. As a self-starting and proactive professional, you will take ownership of solutions and drive them from start to finish.A 3-day-per-week presence in our office is required.ResponsibilitiesBuild and deliver cloud-based solutions across AWS, Azure or Google CloudWork within distributed environments to support fast-paced deliveriesCollaborate within Agile teams to improve efficiency and meet changing requirementsMaintain automated testing and continuous integration processesExploit new technologies to create modern and reusable solutionsSupport your team with the aim of improving overall efficiencyTake ownership of solutions and drive them through completionCommunicate effectively across global teamsRequirementsMinimum 2 years of Java experience with emphasis on build rather than codingBackground in Cloud based solutions such as AWS, Azure or GoogleExperience working in distributed environmentsProficiency in Java and .NET frameworksKnowledge of Cloud based VM, Cloud compute and ContainerizationFamiliarity with GitLab and GitLab pipelinesSkills in SQL including Oracle and MS SQL ServerCompetency in Agile team collaborationExpertise in automated testing and continuous integrationEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higherNice to haveUnderstanding of Rates and Credit bonds and derivativesFamiliarity with Microsoft AzureEPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
