Node.js Developer

Pixie Pets (pixiepets.app) is an AI-commerce pet-tech startup: pet owners upload a photo of their pet, our generative AI turns it into a stylized portrait, and they order it as a real, printed product. We are planning to expand to new countries, and we are looking for a Node.js developer to collaborate with us. We are fully remote.You will work on the platform behind Pixie Pets: the Node.js backend and APIs, the generative AI image pipeline, and the e-commerce and order flow.

You will work directly with the founders in a small, async, fully remote team. We care about shipped outcomes, not tracked hours.What you will do:Build and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs.Integrate the generative AI image pipeline and third-party services.Work on the e-commerce, checkout, and order flow.Ship fast and iterate directly with the founders.Offer:100% remote.B2B contract, invoice based.Flexible async hours.A fast, friendly hiring process and a quick start.Requirements:Solid experience with Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript.Comfortable designing and integrating REST APIs.Proficient in leveraging AI-based automation.
