Baltic PowerAbout the CompanyBaltic Power is a joint venture between two regional leaders of energy transition, Northland Power and ORLEN, pioneering Poland's offshore wind industry and driving the country's energy transformation.
We are constructing the very first offshore wind farm in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. With a planned capacity of 1.1 GW, the project will play a key role in strengthening the country's energy mix and supporting the transition to lower-carbon power generation.
By joining Baltic Power, you will contribute to the development and long-term operation of a large-scale renewable energy asset. You will work alongside experienced professionals and international partners to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of clean electricity to approximately 1.5 million households.
You'll work with the world's most advanced 15 MW offshore turbines and define the best operational practices for a new branch of Polish industry.
We are looking for individuals who value safety, collaboration, and technical excellence, and who are motivated to contribute to the responsible development of renewable energy in Poland.
Join us. Be one of the first. Be the future.
Join the team powering Poland's first offshore wind farm. We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) organization to ensure the wind farm performs at its best.
In this role, you will operate with a high degree of independence, bridging the gap between raw data and offshore power generation.
Thus, this is a role for someone who wants to truly own the technical and operational success of a large energy asset.
You are responsible for the end-to-end performance management process. You won't just report on downtime; you will analyze the "why" and work with the operations team to fix it.
Run scenario models for optimization, forecasting, and claims.Monitor KPIs and performance obligations, including availability, downtime, and energy loss analysis to ensure our partners and contractors follow their contractual obligations.
Maintain the data connections between our Offshore Network System (ONS) and the O&M base. When there is a problem, you're the one who finds the source to fix it.
Conduct investigations into underperformance and proactively propose solutions.Act as the technical bridge between HSE, Asset Integrity, Marine Coordination, and IT whilst contributing to improvement initiatives across O&M team.
Support ad hoc tasks and projects related to performance and asset management.
We value the ability to move beyond high-level analysis to solve practical, daily challenges on the ground.3–5 years in data analysis, performance management, or technical engineering (Wind, Oil & Gas, or Industrial sectors are a plus).
A higher education degree is great, but we value relevant work experience just as much. If you've spent 5 years mastering SCADA and turbine metrics without a degree, apply.
Practical knowledge of wind turbine operations, power curves, and availability metrics.
Strong skill set in data visualization and reporting tools.
Precision in downtime coding and event categorization.
Resilient problem-solver. You stay calm when a storm hits and you aren't afraid to take on tasks outside your regular scope to help the team succeed.
You don't just have flag problems; you anticipate bottlenecks and propose practical, data-backed recommendations.
You proactively identify performance gaps and take own initiative to close them.
You thrive on working in the offshore sector where the rules are still being defined.Recognizing that a wind farm is a complex, integrated machine, you collaborate effectively across different teams to ensure efficient operations.
Fluency in English and Polish is a must.
Data analysis and performance management.
Technical engineering knowledge.
SCADA and turbine metrics expertise.
Data visualization and reporting tools proficiency.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in Wind, Oil & Gas, or Industrial sectors.
Advanced knowledge of wind turbine operations.
Pay range and compensation package
Competitive salary and benefits package.
