The Software Engineer role at Tricentis provides a unique opportunity to work on an impressive technology landscape, involving many of the most popular tools and cloud platforms of today. You will get a chance to utilize your expertise and imagination, while we work together to power our market-leading product platform with next-generation technologies.

NeoLoad helps enterprises test at scale — think Black Friday traffic, mission-critical banking systems, global SaaS platforms. Our customers depend on us to ensure their applications won't fail when millions of users hit them simultaneously. You will work with our Prague and Gemenos engineering teams across product streams that span AI-powered testing capabilities, enterprise integrations, and full-stack product development.

• *Responsibilities**
• Own the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, implementation, testing,

and maintenance — with a particular focus on performance, scalability, and security.

• Design and build features using latest technologies and best practices — from React-based

UIs that make complex performance data understandable, to robust Java 21 backend services.

• Work directly with Product and UX from discovery through delivery. Push back, propose better solutions, and own outcomes — not just output.
• Work across the NeoLoad product and platform — from core test execution engines to the

UIs that make complex performance data understandable for enterprise users.

• Work with open-source and enterprise-grade databases and cloud platforms, contributing to distributed, event-driven SaaS architecture.
• Run code reviews and share knowledge openly across the team.
• Participate in production incident response — investigate, troubleshoot, and contribute to post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence..

• *Skills
• What is relevant to have
• 3+ years overall working as a Software Developer on a similar technology stack (TypeScript/React on the frontend, Java and Spring or similar framework on the backend)
• Deep understanding of HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals and when to reach for which tool.
• Experience with API and microservices development; good understanding of distributed, event-driven SaaS architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and application security fundamentals.
• Experience with both relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• **What is nice to have
• Familiarity with build pipelines, CI/CD, and frontend/backend tooling.
