We are looking for a strong Python Developer with database expertise to join a banking project. The role focuses on backend development, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based solutions within a regulated financial environment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on development skills with solid database knowledge and understands the quality, security, and compliance standards required in enterprise banking systems.
Most Important: Python, Terraform, GCP A plus is if: great SQL skills, experience with API Based Customer Search services/backends
German language (nice, but not needed) 🟠Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services using Python
Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform
Develop and operate cloud-native solutions on GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
Work with relational databases (design, optimization, query tuning)
Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders
Ensure compliance with banking security and regulatory standards
Support production systems and participate in incident analysis when needed 🟠Skills
What is relevant to have Strong experience with Python (backend development, APIs, services)
Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Solid understanding of database systems and data modeling
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Understanding of secure coding practices
Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines What is nice to have Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, performance tuning)
Experience with API-based Customer Search services or similar backend systems
Knowledge of RESTful API design principles
Experience in banking or financial services domain
German language skills (beneficial but not mandatory)
Senior 🟠Work mode hybrid in Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk or Wroclaw
