Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python + React)

About The Role In this role, you'll build full-stack features for a dedicated product team, combining Python on AWS with React on the front end. You'll join one of six parallel projects, working closely with data scientists and engineers to ship reliable, scalable solutions for real business needs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver full-stack solutions using Python on AWS and React, driving scalability and long-term maintainability
• Own technical decisions on system design, cloud infrastructure, and integration patterns, reducing risk and technical debt
• Partner closely with data scientists to align technical solutions with business goals
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
• Design and optimize APIs, data flows, and AWS infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
• Resolve complex technical issues spanning front-end, back-end, and infrastructure layers
• Drive engineering best practices, including testing strategy, CI/CD, and documentation standards

Requirements

• Extensive experience (5+ years) architecting and building full-stack applications with Python and React
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway) and cloud architecture patterns
• Proven experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Strong background in database design across relational and NoSQL systems
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical discussions
• Excellent communication skills for working across cross-functional, multi-project teams
