Senior Java Developer

CompatibL, a leading provider of trading and risk management software solutions, is looking for a talented Java Developer with a good level of English (B2+) to join its growing team.

What will you be doing?

You will join an international engineering team working on a long‑term project for a major US investment fund.

Your role will focus on developing and improving distributed, cloud‑ready systems used for large‑scale data processing.You will help design and implement a scheduler for a stateless reporting application. You will also contribute to the cloud migration of an existing application, helping transform it into a stateless microservices‑based architecture. This involves designing data flows between services and solving technical challenges related to transferring large request payloads through cloud storage solutions such as DynamoDB.

What are we looking for?

• Strong programming background with Java and solid OOP principles
• Understanding of data structures, multi-threading, distributed systems, and transaction management
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience working in financial institutions or with financial data workflows
