We are looking for a Senior Java Developer located in Poland to strengthen our engineering teams and help deliver high-quality solutions for global financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Java code for client-specific solutions and product enhancements, focusing on complex tasks and system improvements

• Write and maintain clear technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and new features

• Follow established coding standards, development processes, and quality gates while proactively suggesting improvements

• Produce installation-ready artifacts and documentation to enable deployments without direct developer assistance

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvements in CI/CD pipelines and automated test coverage

• Use AI tools confidently to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and problem analysis

• Work transparently in Jira: update issues, create sub-tasks, provide estimates, and maintain clear status updates

• Collaborate closely with engineering leads, product managers, architects, QA, and support teams to align on scope and delivery

• Contribute to third-line support when complex production issues arise

• Share knowledge with the team through documentation, code walkthroughs, and short enablement sessions

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Java development

• Strong experience with Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot / Spring Framework)

• Experience with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate

• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases

• Familiarity with Liquibase and Gradle

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability

• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical tasks

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend technologies (Angular or React)

• Experience with Python

• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools
