We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer to join a project from the Investment Management domain.
This role will work on leading technologies within a Microservice architecture, with the development stack including Python, Java, Amazon Web Services (including AWS Analytics), Atlassian toolsets (Bamboo, Bitbucket), Cucumber automated testing. This role also offers excellent opportunities to develop investment knowledge and acumen
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that builds, supports, and enhances global applications.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week from the office either from Krakow or Gdansk.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the platform to support evolving business needs and improve overall system performance
- Design, implement, and backtest models, focusing on risk optimization and dynamic scenario analysis
- Architect and deliver scalable, flexible services that support platform extension, including investigating and enabling early adoption of new technologies
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development in Python
- Data engineering focused experience
- Comfortable using classic data structures and computer algorithms
- Fundamental mathematical, optimization, and data analysis skills
- Focus on details, be critical of accuracy, and be passionate with computer programming
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience working in Agile
