Software Engineer – Assay Data Processing

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a team focused on assay and laboratory data processing. The project involves integrating, analyzing, and processing large experimental and laboratory datasets in a cloud environment.

The team works closely with laboratory and data science stakeholders, with a strong focus on data quality, metadata management, and scalable system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL data pipelines in Python for laboratory and experimental data.

• Integrate with MedCon, Riffyn, or similar LIMS/ELN platforms.

• Build and maintain AWS cloud environments.

• Implement DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, security, and automation.

• Collaborate with lab and data science teams to ensure data consistency and quality.

• Participate in solution architecture design and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong programming experience in Python (APIs, ETL, testing).

• Knowledge of MedCon, Riffyn, or other LIMS/ELN systems.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (CI/CD, IaC, containers).

• Experience in solution architecture design.

• Understanding of laboratory data processing workflows and metadata management.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the life sciences or biotech industry.

• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as pandas or numpy.

• Relevant AWS or DevOps certifications.
