Progress starts with you.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize database systems hosted on AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud.

The role involves ensuring database performance, reliability, and security while collaborating with global teams and DevOps engineers.Key Responsibilities:Manage and administer Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB environmentsOptimize and maintain database performance, reliability, and securityCollaborate with DevOps to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformWork with CI/CD tools such as Codefresh, Env0, or equivalentParticipate in a 24x7 global support rotation as neededMonitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutionsAssist in capacity planning, backup and recovery procedures, and disaster recovery drillsWrite and maintain shell scripts for automationWork with CockroachDB or similar sharding technologiesExperience with YAML coding for configuration managementWork Model:Remote position (occasional presence at Visa office may be required with scheduled notice)QualificationsMinimum 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or in a similar roleProven expertise in managing and administering Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDBStrong understanding of AWS Cloud features and services relevant to database managementPractical experience with TerraformFamiliarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD practicesKnowledge of shell scriptingExperience with CockroachDB or other sharded databasesStrong sense of discipline, trustworthiness, and ability to work remotely with minimal supervisionVisa is an EEO Employer.
