This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guánica Municipio, Puerto Rico, for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality culinary experiences that meet the resort's standards. Responsibilities include menu planning, ingredient sourcing, team supervision, maintaining food safety protocols, and collaborating with staff for catering and dining events.
The role also involves innovating culinary offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and support the resort's pursuit of excellence. Lead all resort culinary operations across restaurants, catering, and banquets. Develop seasonal menus and banquet offerings.
Manage food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationships. Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction. Lead, train, and develop culinary teams. Maintain a positive, professional, and high-performance kitchen culture.
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards. Collaborate with resort leadership on events and culinary strategy.
3+ years of culinary leadership experience (resort/hotel preferred)
Proven experience with banquets and high-volume catering
Strong leadership, organizational, and cost-control skills
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
