As an Industrial Microbiologist, I’m deeply interested in how microbiology contributes to quality, safety, and innovation within industries. I enjoy solving problems, learning hands-on, and bringing a positive and collaborative attitude to every team I join. I’m passionate about continuous growth and excited to begin applying my academic background in real-world settings where I can support impactful work and evolve professionally.
As the Monogram Captain at Kipling, I’m in charge of operating and maintaining the embroidery machine, completing custom designs, and creating team activities to boost motivation and track goals. This role has strengthened my sense of precision, responsibility, and consistency when working with equipment and following detailed processes. It has also helped me develop strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills—all of which I value in any professional setting.
In addition, I assist with sales and customer service, which has sharpened my communication and adaptability.
During my studies in Industrial Microbiology and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo, I gained knowledge in microbiological principles, laboratory practices, and industrial processes related to quality and safety. This experience helped me develop analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a strong interest in applying science to solve practical problems.
