Your Mission Will Be

• Design and implement secure and high-performing Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose;
• Integrate and maintain advanced accessibility features to promote an inclusive and user-friendly mobile experience;
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product owners to convert requirements into reliable mobile solutions;
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security through peer reviews, automated testing, and engineering best practices;
• Contribute throughout the full development lifecycle, from planning and implementation to testing and release.

You Will Need

• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and maintaining Android applications;
• Strong expertise in Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, asynchronous programming, and modern Android architecture components such as Room, WorkManager, LiveData, and ViewModel;
• Solid experience with networking (Retrofit, OkHttp, WebSockets, REST APIs), authentication mechanisms like OAuth and JWT, secure storage solutions such as EncryptedSharedPreferences, testing frameworks including JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric, MockK, CI/CD pipelines, Play Store deployment workflows, and fluency in Portuguese and English.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields;
• Experience optimizing app performance and memory management in complex mobile applications;
• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices and data protection standards;
• Familiarity with scalable architectures and modularization strategies;
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional, and international teams.
