💻 Application Support Engineer (Wealth Management / Data Platform)
🚀 Role Overview
From Hays we are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join a team responsible for supporting critical applications, managing incidents, service requests, and Application Production Support activities within the Wealth Management domain.
This professional will work in shift rotations and on‑call, ensuring high availability, performance, and service quality. Additionally, the selected candidate will actively contribute to continuous service improvement, automation, and overall platform stability.

Freelance: up to €3,300 gross per month VAT
- Work Model: Full on‑site
- Location: Lisbon

🛠️ Responsibilities
- Provide production application support for the Wealth Management IT Data Platform ecosystem.
- Prioritize, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests from business teams.
- Perform log analysis (system, middleware, and application) to identify issues and root causes.
- Monitor services and produce reports to ensure quality, stability, and high availability.
- Contribute to Continuous Service Improvement initiatives, including:
- Automation of repetitive tasks
- Support to Problem Management processes
Requirements
- 2 years experience in Application/Production Support (incidents, requests, on‑call).
- Experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle / SQL / PL‑SQL.
- Experience with Autosys.
- Experience analyzing application, system and middleware logs.
- Avaliability to work in shift rotations and on‑call environments.
- Fluent in English
