Backend Node.js Developer

Emagine is seeking a Backend Node.js Developer to join an international project focused on building scalable and reliable backend solutions in a cloud-first environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong Node.js development experience and deep AWS knowledge who enjoys working in distributed teams and delivering high-quality software.

What You'll Be Working On

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js.
• Build scalable and secure solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with international teams in the delivery of high-quality software.
• Contribute to system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Deep experience working with AWS.
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• English C1 level or higher.

Location & Eligibility

• Candidates must be based in Portugal.
• Remote position.
• Long-term assignment (12+ months).
• Start date: ASAP.
