Big Data Developer

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Big Data Engineer to join a team responsible for operating, maintaining, and evolving large-scale Big Data platforms. The role focuses on Hadoop ecosystem operations, Data Lake optimization, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex issues across distributed data environments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Hadoop ecosystem and Data Lake components.
• Work with Big Data services and query engines to ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability.
• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Automate recurring processes and contribute to platform lifecycle management.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in complex Big Data environments.
• Collaborate with data, development, and infrastructure teams to enhance the platform.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, Spark or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of Data Lake operations and distributed Big Data services.
• Experience with query engines (Hive, Presto, Trino, Impala or similar).
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.
