We're looking for a Data Engineer ready to take on new challenges with our Closer team!

🌍 Hybrid work model: 2 days per week onsite in Porto or Lisbon.

🚀 What you’ll do:

• Design and implement global data tools and UIs, creating end-to-end solutions that directly address the daily needs of our Bankers.
• Develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT jobs using Python and PySpark to feed our Data Lake and downstream applications (Power BI, Web UIs, etc.).
• Create and optimize data models (relational and dimensional) to support advanced reporting and analytics.
• Build RESTful APIs with Flask to expose processed datasets and integrate seamlessly with front-end components.
• Develop interactive and responsive interfaces using Vue.js, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
• Build Power BI dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights for our internal clients.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data and UI specifications.
• Automate end-to-end processes, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability through code reviews and refactoring.

🎯 What we’re looking for:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Web Development with a strong focus on data products.
• Technical Mastery: Solid experience with Python / PySpark and proficiency in SQL.
• Web Stack: Hands-on experience building web applications using Flask (Back-end) and Vue.js (Front-end).
• Data Vis: Proven experience developing visualization solutions in Power BI.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong understanding of database management principles and data modeling.
• Soft Skills: Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams, turning complex problems into simple digital solutions.
