Your mission will be:

• Install, configure and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances, including high availability environments using Availability Groups;
• Monitor development, testing and production environments, ensuring performance, stability, and continuous improvements;
• Troubleshoot database performance issues, working closely with development teams to optimise queries, indexing, and configurations;
• Ensure database security, maintenance, and deployment processes, including backups, indexing strategies, and sprint release support.

You will need:

• More than 5 years of experience as a DBA;
• Strong experience managing SQL Server 2019+ environments, including installation, configuration, patching, backups, and high availability setups;
• Solid expertise in SQL Server performance optimisation, indexing strategies, and database monitoring;
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL and experience supporting development teams with database scripts and optimisation;
• CPLP nationality or a valid EU work permit;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Would be awesome if you have:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related areas.
