ADDGEN is a fast-growing Renewable Energy company delivering specialized technical services worldwide. We support Electrical and Mechanical works across Wind projects (Onshore & Offshore), including Commissioning, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, High-Voltage Operations, Retrofits, and Inspections.

We are expanding and looking for a driven EHS Manager to lead high impact in Renewable Energy field, especially in Wind Energy projects.

The Role

Hybrid | Pombal, Portugal

As an EHS Coordinator/Manager in Renewable Energy, you will lead end-to-end projects, ensuring delivery within scope, high safety & quality standards, and timeline.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Management, Logistics, Procurement), ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.

This is a strategic role combining theoretical and practical expertise and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee EHS activities across Onshore and Offshore Wind Energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company EHS policies.
• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks for operational teams.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Monitor QEHS KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and report performance.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and site managers to ensure safe operations.
• Support operational readiness, safety planning, and preventive measures.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory entities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Proven experience in EHS coordination within Renewable Energy or Industrial Environment (Wind Energy preferred).
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk management, and safety systems.
• Experience in site safety management and coordination of contractors.
• Familiarity with Wind Turbine operations and wind project environments is a strong plus.
• Certifications in Occupational Health & Safety (preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent English.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Model

• Hybrid position requiring on-site presence at our Pombal office and warehouse at least once or twice a week.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Leiria or Coimbra region.
