The job
Description
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help build the next stage of Braining.CLEAR, our medical platform designed to make clinical work simpler, faster, and more connected.You’ll be responsible for building key features, improving architecture, and help shape how the platform will evolve. You’ll work across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases, and deployment, depending on specific needs. As Braining.CLEAR is built for healthcare, reliability, security, privacy, and thoughtful engineering are key requirements.
We are looking for professionals looking to step up in their career that have the know-how to influence technical decisions, and the will to help build a medical product from an early stage.

You’ll work close to the product and close to the problems we’re trying to solve. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of developers, product designers, researchers, and other people involved in building Braining’s technology. Developers are part of product discussions, technical decisions, and the thinking behind what we build next. This means we expect developers to be critical about current technical approaches and have the freedom to propose and work on improved solutions.
You’ll also have the chance to work across areas that are often separated in larger companies, including product development, cloud infrastructure, deployment, security, and healthcare technology. We value critical thinking, problem solving, and work ethic deeply.
Profile
Minimum requirements
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience working with cloud-based applications and infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms
- Understanding of backend development, APIs, databases, and web application architecture
- Understanding of Git-based version control
- Professional fluency in English
- Ability to work from our Porto office as part of a hybrid working model
Preferred requirements
(A) 3+ years of professional software development experience(B) Experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments
(C) Experience designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
(D) Experience with Docker and containerised applications
(E) Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
(F) Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server
(G) Experience with automated testing and code review
(H) Familiarity with healthcare, medical software, GDPR, or systems handling sensitive personal data
You do not need to meet every preferred requirement. We care about strong technical foundations, good judgement, and your ability to learn.
