Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

pWe’re looking for a bMid/Senior Java Engineer /b to join the client team, working on the design and development of enterprise-grade applications to enhance automation, security, and self-service capabilities across API platforms. /ppbr/ppThis is a bhybrid position based in Porto /b, with b2 /3 days per week at the office /b. /ppbr/ppbWhat you will do /b /pulliLead the full application lifecycle: design, estimation, development, unit testing, release, and implementation support /liliTranslate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions /liliUnderstand end-to-end architecture, including infrastructure components, to support monitoring and enhancement activities /liliMaintain development quality standards, perform code reviews and ensure best practices are applied /liliContribute to and review technical design documentation /liliTroubleshoot technical issues and support other engineers in overcoming challenges /liliIdentify and report technical risks, proposing mitigation strategies /liliContribute to innovation initiatives and suggest improvements to development practices and efficiency /li /ulpbr/ppbTech Stack Required Skills /b /pulliStrong experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA /liliSolid background in Angular or similar front-end frameworks /liliProven experience in building complex enterprise-level applications from scratch /liliStrong understanding of API microservices architecture /liliProficiency in RDBMS/SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) /liliKnowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices /liliHands-on experience with Maven, Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, SonarQube /liliComfortable working in Linux/Unix environments /liliStrong communication and coordination skills /li /ulpbr/ppbNice to Have /b /pulliExperience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, JProfiler, etc.) /liliExposure to API Gateways (APIGee preferred) /liliUnderstanding of OAuth2, SSO, OpenID Connect /liliKnowledge of Kafka, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), and caching tools like Redis /liliFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum environments /liliPrevious exposure to the financial domain /li /ul
