We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer eager to work on cutting-edge AI-driven applications in the healthcare industry. If you thrive in an environment that challenges you to build scalable, high-performing software solutions, this role is for you!

As a Full Stack Engineer with significant back-end experience in Python and front-end experience in React, you will design, develop, and deploy applications that power AI-driven solutions, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to ensure both front-end and back-end systems are optimized for performance and reliability.

This is a hybrid working opportunity, ideally based in our Coimbra, Portugal office. We will also consider strong candidates who can work a hybrid schedule from our Szeged, Hungary or Subotica, Serbia offices.

Role responsibilities

Development of front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.

Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django).

Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.

Design and optimize databases for performance and scalability (PostgreSQL).

Automate CI/CD pipelines and oversee AWS cloud deployments.

Participate in code reviews and implement best practices for development.

Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

Professional experience developing front-end applications using React (preferred), Angular, or similar frameworks.

Hands-on experience building backend applications using Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.

Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).

Experience with cloud deployments and DevOps tools.

Experience with application performance optimization.

Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Experience with AI-powered engineering tooling.
