Hybrid model with on-site presence 2 days per WEEK for professionals living up to 70 km from the Lisbon office
Hybrid model with on-site presence 2 days per MONTH for professionals living more than 70 km away
Work closely with architects and systems analysts to understand requirements and contribute to solution design
Design and develop new features and enhancements with a full-stack approach, using Angular and Java
Build scalable, robust, and maintainable software solutions
Organize, prioritize, and manage development tasks effectively
Participate in code reviews and ensure best development practices
Support the technical evolution and mentoring of junior team members (for mid/senior profiles)
Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, tools, and development processes
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of professional experience in software development
Strong experience in object-oriented programming and solid knowledge of Java
Experience with Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
Knowledge of Spring Framework; experience with Quarkus and Kubernetes is a plus
Experience with APIs, microservices / micro-frontends, and event-driven architectures
Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL and SQL Server)
Experience using Git and Maven
Experience leveraging GenAI tools (e.g., Claude Code) while maintaining strong analytical and critical thinking
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for clean, well-structured code
Strong team spirit, initiative, and communication skills
Experience in the Insurance industry is a plus
Good spoken Portuguese & English
