Role Overview
We are looking for a Fullstack Tech Lead for an end client in the financial sector that is expanding its IT CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) team in Porto. The selected professional will join a cross‐location team working closely with colleagues in Porto and Paris, maintaining several applications and APIs while delivering both evolutive developments and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical decisions and guide the team in fullstack development initiatives
- Maintain and evolve internal applications and APIs
- Work collaboratively with teams in Porto and Paris
- Promote best engineering practices and ensure high‐quality deliverables
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment
- Strong experience with DevOps tools: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, Git
- Solid backend development background using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot , Spring Batch, Spring Integration or Spring Boot Starter.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, Mockito, JUnit
- Strong frontend experience with React (possibly Redux) and Angular
- Expertise working with Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of architectural principles: Hexagonal Architecture, CQRS, Microservices Architecture, ETL Architecture, GOF Design Patterns.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- High level of autonomy and strong organizational skills
- Innovative mindset and strong problem‐solving capabilities
- Proactive approach to promoting best practices
- Strong team player, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- 2–3+ years of experience in similar roles
- Proficient in fullstack development and DevOps practices
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (French is a plus)
