We are looking for an Java Backend Developer!
Responsabilities:
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance backend applications and services.
- Analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in software architecture and technical design, producing technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Develop proof of concepts and validate technical solutions against business requirements.
- Create and execute unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional tests, leveraging automated testing frameworks where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with software development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Estimate development effort, plan deliverables, and meet project deadlines.
- Produce and maintain technical and release documentation.
- Deploy and maintain application components, scripts, and database changes.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects with a focus on quality and stability.
- Collaborate with development teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to process improvements, delivery efficiency, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in backend software development using Java.
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience developing enterprise applications in distributed environments.
- Experience with application support and production issue resolution.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong expertise in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Experience developing applications with Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Java Collections, exception handling, access modifiers, and core language features.
- Experience with Oracle SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and UML.
- Knowledge of deployment processes and application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
