What we're looking for:

• 7+ years of experience as a Java Back-End Developer, building and maintaining enterprise applications with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and REST APIs
• Strong experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures, including messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Solid background working with relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, and contract testing)
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support code quality, testing, documentation, and productivity
• Experience with Git and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Fluency in English (at least a B2 level)

Nice to have:

• German language skills

Important:

This position is hybrid, 1 day a week on-site in Lisbon. Candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit, to be considered.
