We’re looking for an Intermediate Java Developer who knows how to design, build, and deliver robust, scalable backend systems in modern cloud environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build high-performance backend systems and microservices
• Develop and optimise APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
• Drive code quality, testing, and best practices
• Work across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and modern DevOps pipelines
• Mentor developers and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture
• Identify, solve, and prevent scaling and performance challenges

Tech You’ll Use

• Java (core focus), Spring Boot
• REST/SOAP APIs, Apache Camel, ActiveMQ
• Databases: MySQL, Redis

Containers: Docker

• Cloud: AWS, GCP
• CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker

What You Bring (Essential)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• 3/4+ years Java development 
• Strong experience building scalable, production-grade applications
• Understanding of software architecture and system design
• Experience with microservices and API-driven systems
• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Solid experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
