We're Hiring: Java Developer (Mid-Level)
Location: Alfragide, Lisbon (Hybrid model – 3 days per week in the office)
We're looking for a skilled Java Developer to join an Agile team and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of critical backend solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop new features and enhancements for Java backend applications
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement fixes for identified issues
- Participate in the design and implementation of technical solutions with a high degree of autonomy
- Develop and maintain Oracle database logic
- Support junior team members through mentoring and code reviews
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and task estimation activities
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met
Required skills
- Solid experience in Java development (Core/SE)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience reading, adapting, and developing Oracle Stored Procedures
- Good understanding of Java EE architecture and specifications (EJB, JMS, JPA, CDI, JAX-WS, JAX-RS)
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency with Git and Maven
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
