Java Engineer / API Developer | Spring Boot, Angular & Cloud

About The Opportunity

At BindWorks, we're looking for Mid-Senior and Senior Java Engineers to join a modern engineering project focused on scalable digital platforms, robust APIs and cloud-ready solutions.

This is an opportunity to work beyond traditional application maintenance, contributing to modern backend services, API development, fullstack features and distributed systems with real business impact.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineers in an environment that values technical ownership, clean code, continuous learning and engineering excellence.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and backend services
• Build and evolve REST APIs and integration layers
• Develop solutions using Spring Boot and modern Java practices
• Contribute to frontend development with Angular when applicable
• Work on scalable, cloud-ready and distributed architectures
• Participate in technical discussions and architecture decisions
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews and best practices
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Engineering teams
• Improve performance, scalability and maintainability of existing systems
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and delivery automation

What We Are Looking For (Required)

• 4 years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Solid understanding of backend development and system integration
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
