Senior Java Fullstack Developer - Is that you?

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) Experience Level: Senior Language: English (minimum B2)

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Java Fullstack Developer in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ , Spring Boot v2+ , Spring Data JPA , and Hibernate .
• Solid experience developing frontend applications using Angular 2+ .
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and Microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming , multithreading, design patterns, and MVC architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SQL , SQL Server , query optimization, and database design.
• Experience with Maven , Git , Jenkins , GitLab Pipelines , and CI/CD implementation.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes .
• Experience implementing security best practices using Spring Security , authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and quality assurance tools including JUnit , SonarQube , Postman , and Swagger/OpenAPI .
• Experience with Linux environments, Bash/Shell scripting, server configuration, and production support activities.
• Hands-on experience configuring and using GitHub Copilot Agents , integrating AI agents into development pipelines, and promoting AI-assisted development practices.
• Strong communication skills and experience working within Agile teams using tools such as Jira .

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise content management platforms such as IBM Content Manager , Hyland OnBase , or Alfresco .
• Knowledge of API management and integration platforms such as WSO2 .
• Experience with application monitoring, observability, and log analysis tools such as Splunk .
• Experience developing batch-processing solutions using Spring Batch .
• Knowledge of API lifecycle management, monitoring, publishing, and documentation practices.
• Experience with deployment automation and release management tools such as XLD (XL Deploy) .
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern software engineering practices.
• Relevant certifications in Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Cloud, or DevOps technologies.
