We are looking for an Java Software Developer!
Responsabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services and components for the Orion platform.
- Contribute to the delivery of core and transversal features, as well as entity‑specific requirements.
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Proactively identify technical improvements to enhance performance, security, and maintainability.
- Support deployment activities and contribute to production stability when required.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Java (8+) and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend service design.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git).
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Good understanding of non‑functional requirements: performance, security, scalability.
- Experience in banking or financial services, ideally in Front Office or risk‑related systems.
- Exposure to microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of messaging systems or event‑driven architectures.
- Good verbal, written skills in English.
