We would like to meet a
Java Developer
for a project full remote (based in Portugal)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Microservices, and modern architectural patterns.
- Contribute to frontend development activities using React.js or Angular, when required.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure application security by implementing API security and data privacy best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards and design patterns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to technical discussions, code reviews, and process enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development.
- Strong proficiency in Java (latest versions) and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience with AWS, Microservices Architecture, and Design Patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitFlow, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
- Good understanding of API security, authentication mechanisms, and data privacy best practices.
- Experience with React.js or Angular is considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Node.js and PostgreSQL (is a plus).
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
