Role Overview

We are looking for a Mendix Developer to join one of our Nearshore Teams working remotely for international clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

You will work in a collaborative environment, building scalable and sustainable Mendix applications and working closely with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams. In addition to hands-on development, you will contribute to solution architecture, technical decision-making, development standards, application governance, and continuous improvement throughout the software lifecycle.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve complex applications using Mendix;
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, and sustainable technical solutions;
• Contribute to solution architecture, system integration, UI/UX, performance, security, and application lifecycle decisions;
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, developers, architects, and multidisciplinary delivery teams;
• Lead technical discussions and support informed architectural and development decisions;
• Promote software quality through Mendix best practices, code reviews, reusable components, governance standards, and technical documentation;
• Work within Agile Scrum and DevOps environments, supporting efficient and continuous software delivery;
• Monitor and improve application reliability, maintainability, and operational performance across the build-to-run lifecycle;
• Mentor less experienced developers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team;
• Explore and support the adoption of AI-driven solutions that can create measurable value for applications, operational processes, and customers.

What you are like

• Senior-level proficiency as a Mendix Developer, Consultant, Engineer, or Low-Code Architect;
• Proficient in designing and developing complex, business-critical Mendix applications;
• Have strong knowledge of software development, enterprise architecture, system integration, APIs, UI/UX principles, and application lifecycle management;
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical subjects, contributing to architecture decisions, and mentoring other developers;
• Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions;
• Proactive, collaborative, quality-focused, and committed to building sustainable solutions and long-term customer relationships;
• Have good communication skills in English - as you will collaborate daily with international teams.
