Network Engineer - French Speaking

Position Overview

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our Team for a project in the Retail & Luxury Goods industry.

• Your mission will be to ensure the operational maintenance of the network services and infrastructure, while adhering to best practices in terms of service continuity, performance, and security.
• You will provide technical support for infrastructure evolution projects as well as business-related projects.
• You will also be responsible for preparing technical implementation documentation and operational documentation.
• You will participate in implementing configurations on network equipment during planned maintenance windows.
• You will assist and advise end users and other IT departments

Education & Experience

• Degree from an engineering school or equivalent higher education.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to proactively propose improvements and contribute to the implementation of new services.
• Customer service-oriented, with a strong commitment to meeting the service levels defined by the IT department.
• Able to suggest and implement tools that improve the reliability and measurability of operational support ("run").

• LAN, WAN, and WLAN networking technologies.
• Cisco Catalyst; Cisco Meraki
• Switching and routing principles.
• Dynamic routing protocols.
• OSPF
• BGP

WAN architectures:

• MPLS
• Site-to-Site VPN
• SD-WAN

Firewalls:

• Palo Alto
• Fortinet
• Network monitoring tools (Centron).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is considered a plus.

Languages

French: Mandatory ( this is very important )

English: Mandatory
