Node.js developer

• *Essential skills:**

● Experience building and maintaining Node.js microservices (or similar backend service architectures)

● Strong experience with React and TypeScript, including building and maintaining production-grade applications

● Solid understanding of microservice design, service boundaries, and API-driven systems

● Solid experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native, containerised environments

● Comfortable working with Docker in production systems

● You value clean architecture, maintainable code, and long-term system health

● Strong experience in identifying, prioritising, and reducing technical debt

● You care deeply about software quality, testing, and CI/CD practices

● You are comfortable working in environments with ambiguity, evolving requirements, and change

● You enjoy improving existing systems as much as building new ones

● You are motivated by solving complex, real-world engineering problems

• *Nice to have:**

● Strong experience with testing & QA practices (unit, integration, E2E)

● Observability and monitoring (logging, metrics, tracing)

● Experience working in platform teams or internal product teams

● Experience modernising legacy systems

● Experience with cloud-native architectures (GCP, AWS, or Azure)

● Experience with IDE Automation, AI Tooling (Cursor, Claude, Co-Pilot, Vertex, Gemini, etc) and Agentic AI / MCP experience as a plus.
