We’re looking for a Python (FastAPI) & Angular Developer to join a collaborative technology team based in Porto, working on innovative solutions within the financial services sector.
Location: Porto, Portugal
Work model: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the office
What will you be doing?
- Develop and maintain frontend features using Angular & TypeScript
- Build stable, secure, and efficient backend APIs using Python & FastAPI
- Develop end-to-end features and ensure seamless frontend/backend integration
- Work with REST APIs, SQL and Git
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Apply secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications
- Work closely with the Tech Lead and the wider development team
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience with Python & FastAPI
- Mid-level experience with Angular & TypeScript
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive design
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Good knowledge of Git, Agile/Scrum and CI/CD concepts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
- Fluent Portuguese — mandatory
- English B2 or above — mandatory
- French is a plus
Nice to have:
Experience with
Docker/Containerization, structured corporate environments, or
FinTech, Banking or Financial Services.
