Senior Api Manager (Java/Spring Boot)

We are looking for a Senior API Manager to design, build, publish, and monitor APIs in a modern backend environment.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality API delivery, strong documentation, and reliable operations across the API lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java (8–11) and Spring Boot (2+).

Define API standards and best practices (naming, versioning, security, performance).

Produce and maintain high-quality API documentation (e.G., OpenAPI/Swagger).

Implement data access layers using Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate.

Support CI/CD workflows and deployments using Jenkins and Docker.

Ensure API reliability through monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting (Splunk).

Manage the full API lifecycle: design ? build ? publish ? monitor.

Collaborate in a senior capacity: code reviews, technical guidance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Java Spring Boot (strong proficiency).

Strong knowledge of Java 8–11, Spring Boot 2+, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate.

Hands-on experience with API design, API documentation, and API publishing.

Experience using Jenkins (2+) for CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Docker and container-based workflows.

Experience with Splunk (8+) for logging/observability and troubleshooting.

Understanding of API monitoring and production readiness.

French level B2 or higher (mandatory).
