We would like to meet a Senior Data Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer for a project with a hybrid working model:
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS (EKS) and/or Azure (AKS)
Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Build and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms and automate deployments with Helm
- Deploy and manage distributed data platform technologies such as Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, Apache Hive, or Dremio
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated platform deployments
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
- Automate operational tasks and platform tooling using Python or Go
- Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and data platform services
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams in an Agile enterprise environment
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in Data Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (EKS) and/or Azure (AKS)
- Deep experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in production environments
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale
- Experience deploying and operating data platform components such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, Airflow, NiFi, Hive or Dremio
- Experience with Helm charts and large-scale Kubernetes automation
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles applied to data platforms
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana or ELK stack
- Proficiency in scripting or development with Python or Go
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure and data layers
- Experience working in agile enterprise environments
- Fluent in written and spoken English
