Senior Fullstack Java & React Developer

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a dynamic, international Tech Hub based in Lisbon. As a Senior, you will work under broad direction, acting as a technical reference contributing to architecture decisions, code reviews, and ensuring quality through best practices and testing methodologies. Main Responsibilities

• Act as a key contributor to architecture decisions and code reviews.
• Implement REST APIs and perform back-end development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Engage in troubleshooting, bug fixing, and code optimization.
• Use version control systems to manage code effectively.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Produce technical documentation to support development processes.
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Contribute to front-end development using React and Next.js.

Key Requirements

• Back-end development with Java / Spring Boot
• Spring Boot Framework
• REST API design and implementation
• SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS)
• Version control with GIT
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Troubleshooting, bug fixing, and code optimization
• Technical documentation (Confluence, IcePanel)
• DevOps practices: CI/CD, GitHub workflows and actions
• Maven or equivalent package manager
• Front-end development with React, Next.js

Nice to Have

• Hibernate / JPA or equivalent ORM
• Application architecture: Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-driven Architecture, etc.
• AWS or other cloud platforms
