Senior Java Developer (Backend Focus)

We're looking for a Senior Java Developer with a strong backend focus to join our team. If you're passionate about designing robust systems, building scalable APIs, and working with modern cloud-native architectures, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality applications that provide exceptional user experiences and reliable backend services.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies
• Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices
• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate backend services with modern user interfaces
• Work with databases, cloud platforms, and third-party integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
• Support CI/CD processes, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and technologies

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as a Java Developer or Software Engineer
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
• Experience building and maintaining microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Frontend knowledge in Angular and/or React
• Ability to collaborate across full-stack development teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus
