We are looking for an Senior Java Developer!
Responsabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side components for the Credit eTrading platform.
- Develop and maintain the Credit eTrading Order Management System (OMS) and market connectivity layers.
- Implement new features for bond quoting, auto-negotiation, RFQ workflows, and market connectivity.
- Deliver clean, high-performance, scalable, and testable Java applications.
- Ensure the platform meets high standards of quality, security, reliability, and performance.
- Apply best practices in software design, coding, and testing.
- Produce maintainable and well-structured code with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Support team during releases and ongoing maintenance.
- Work directly with Front Office traders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide Level 3 (L3) production support when required.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Credit eTrading platform through feature development and system enhancements.
- Participate in migration and refactoring initiatives to modernize existing applications.
- Support the continuous improvement of the trading platform architecture.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java 17+.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing high-performance, scalable, and testable server-side applications.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with application migration and refactoring projects.
- Strong software design and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with performance optimization and secure application development.
- Experience working within a Front Office technology team.
- Knowledge of eTrading systems, preferably in the Credit domain.
- Understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS), market connectivity, and electronic trading workflows.
- Experience interacting directly with traders and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Front Office environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering business value.
- Good level of english.
