We are more than 500 consultants with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid. /ppbr/ppDECSKILL operates in 3 main areas: /ppbr/pp• DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams; /pp• DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed; /pp• DECSKILL CONNECT, through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures. /ppbr/ppOur practice results in the creation of value for our customers, either by delivering qualified and value-added services, or through highly qualified and motivated professionals, as well as technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers. /ppbr/ppWe are looking for a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid project in Porto. /ppbr/ppKey requirements : /p ulliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. /liliMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and proficiency in the latest editions of Java, including expertise in Spring Boot. /liliStrong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns. /liliStrong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. /liliExperience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus. /liliExperience in NodeJs and PostgreSQL database is a plus. /liliSolid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy. /liliProficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team. /liliComfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns among others. /liliExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. /liliProficiency in English is a must. /li /ul pRole and Key Accountabilities: /p ulliTranslate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. /liliDesign, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. /liliEnsure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications. /liliCollaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with business requirements and meet delivery timelines. /liliPrioritize and facilitate the early resolution of client issues, ensuring adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). /liliConduct code reviews, contribute to critical feature designs, and ensure the overall quality of the team's deliverables. /liliFlag technical debt and areas of improvements, making sure they are properly documented and taken into account when defining priorities. /liliImplement a robust documentation system for knowledge base, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and communication in software development activities. /liliIdentify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems. /liliFollow Agile Scrum development process for application development. /li /ulpbr/ppIf you’re interested in this job please send your bCV in English /b to with reference b“DA/SJD” /b. /ppbr/ppDecskill is committed to equality and non-discrimination with all our talents.
