Senior Java Developer

At TMC , we bring together talented engineers who want to work on challenging and innovative technology projects. We are currently looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Lisbon, working in a remote setup .

Your Role

As a Java Developer, you will be involved in the design, development and evolution of scalable backend solutions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.

You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment and continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For

• Professional experience with Java development;
• Strong knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot ;
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs ;
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL ;
• Experience with Git and version control workflows;
• Understanding of software development best practices and clean code principles;
• Experience working within Agile environments .

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architectures ;
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes ;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines ;
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP ;
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ ;
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment;
• Good level of English , both written and spoken;
• Based in Portugal , preferably in the Lisbon area.
