Senior Java Software Engineer

We would like to meet a Java Software Developer for a project with a hybrid working model based in Lisboa (2x/week). Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies and architecture, preferably in the payments or financial services industry.

Proficiency in Java (latest versions, 17 or 21; 21 preferred) and related technologies, with hands-on experience in developing scalable applications.

Knowledge of Spring Boot Framework.

Knowledge of Kafka and Spring Batch.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and best practices in software development.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is preferred.

Experience with Angular or React is a plus.

Proficiency in English - minimum B2 level (mandatory).
