Software Developer - Java Backend

🚀 We're Hiring for an exciting new opportunity: Software Developer - Java Backend (Aveiro - 3x week at the office)

Mandatory to be in Portugal

What will you do?

• Analyse functional and technical requirements and contribute to software solution specifications.
• Develop, implement and maintain software applications and services, primarily using Java .
• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Implement and maintain solutions based on microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Develop and execute End-to-End (E2E) tests to validate implemented functionalities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, promoting software development best practices.
• Apply Clean Code principles and SOLID design principles.
• Collaborate with the team on the technical evolution of the platform and problem-solving activities.

Requirements (Mandatory):

• Proven software development experience using Java 8 or higher.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Clean Code principles and SOLID principles and experience in unit testing
• Experience with version control tools, particularly Git/GitHub (branch, pull requests and code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge of test automation using Playwright.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
