Job Title: MS SQL Developer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal Hybrid

Contract Position

Description:

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

· Strong expertise in:

o T-SQL o Stored Procedures o Functions o Views o Triggers o Dynamic SQL

· Experience with:

o SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

o SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

o SQL Server Agent Jobs

· Strong knowledge of:

o Database Design o Data Modeling o Indexing Strategies o Normalization and Denormalization

· Hands-on experience in:

o Query Optimization o Execution Plan Analysis o Performance Tuning o Database Troubleshooting

· Experience with ETL development and data migration projects.

· Strong understanding of transaction management and data integrity concepts.

· Experience supporting production environments and resolving database issues.

· Proficiency in SQL scripting, debugging, and data analysis.

Production Support Responsibilities

· Provide L2/L3 support for database-related incidents.

· Monitor database health and performance.

· Investigate and resolve production issues.

· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

· Support deployment and release activities.

· Work with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
