SQL Server Developer – Lisbon, Portugal

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database solutions.
• Develop Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, Dynamic SQL, and SQL scripts.
• Build and support ETL processes for data migration and integration.
• Perform query optimization, execution plan analysis, and database performance tuning.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot database issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Support database deployments, upgrades, and release activities.
• Collaborate with development teams and ensure database security, backup, and recovery best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL, SSMS, SSIS, SQL Server Agent Jobs, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers, and Dynamic SQL.
• Experience in database design, data modeling, indexing strategies, normalization/denormalization, and ETL development.
• Strong knowledge of query optimization, performance tuning, transaction management, and production support.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing tools.

Preferred

• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain, Omnichannel Retail, or E-commerce domains.
