Alexandre Lourenço

As a Junior Software Engineer with a Computer Engineering background, I'm eager to apply my technical skills and passion for development to new and exceting projects. Committed to learning and making a meaningful impact in a team enviroment.

I was an Intern Research Scientist at FARO Technologies. During this internship I tested and developed computer vision algorithms using Python and Open3d. Also studied parameter optimization for algorithms using Optuna and Implemented the new developed algorithms as new functionalities for existing software using C#, .NET and WPF.

I completed a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering at ISEP and I'm currently completing a masters degree in the same institute.
