Highly motivated physician with more than 10 years of experience in emergency room care. I have 4 yrs of formal training in internal medicine but opted to pursue a career solely in the emergency department, which gave me experience and confidence to manage and treat a wide variety of patients. Trained and also currently working as an Emergency Medical Vehicle and Rehabilitation MD for the past 2 yrs.
This last venture has heightened not only my technical skills in critical care but my ability to successfully assume the role of team leader.
I am Portuguese Canadian (double citizenship) currently living and working in Portugal. I consider myself highly adaptable in both work and social environments. I am looking for new and exciting ventures that will help me to continue to grow and evolve, both personally and professionally.
Although I don’t have prior experience working aboard a cruise ship, I believe that my passed experience in a wide range positions and of places will make me a excellent candidate for this position.
